Message sources say it has 280bhp.

ballpark... there is about 20% loss due to drivetrain.

20% of 280hp is 56hp

280 - 56 = 224 whp

is this correct?

I did a dyno once and i got 213hp on my stock twinturbo automatic 1990.

You can view it here:

I ran my codes i get code 55.

I checked the connections to my boost solenoids they look good.

my boost gauge looks like this:

Did a boost leak test found a few hoses places where it were loose but nothing significant to change anything.

I did a compression test all good.

Before i go and do the resistor trick to the det sensor connector and buy a real boost gauge you guys have any opinions.

My opinion is my car is not in safety boost and somehow in the dyno the reading on the chart of the dyno sheets is not correct if i remember correctly the boost vac was not measured from the vac hose by the boost sensor but somewhere along the balance tube...

In my opinion those dyno numbers are accurate and my Z is healthy. ~224whp is right for a brand new auto TT... 213whp is not bad for a 20 year old auto Z especially when i didn't really tune up my car before the dyno.
